The Little Vineyard Wedding – A Down-to-Earth Celebration
Real, relaxed and all in one place
Tucked on the edge of the Yarra Valley, The Little Vineyard is perfect for couples who want an easy, down-to-earth day: a beautiful outdoor ceremony, quick access to photo locations, and a cosy reception that feels like a long dinner with your favourite people. With no getting ready or first-look photos, we focussed on the heart of the day—ceremony, portraits with the two of you, very fun bridal party frames, and a warm, food-forward reception.
Why The Little Vineyard works so well
All on one property: ceremony, portraits and reception without leaving guests.
Great light: tree-lined spaces and open views for golden hour.
Laid-back vibe: easy logistics = calmer photos and more time with your people.
The day in highlights
Ceremony among the vines
Vows under the arbour with vineyard views and soft breeze across the rows. We positioned the aisle for even, flattering light, then tucked family photos into nearby shade while everyone was together.
Couple portraits in the vines
A slow wander through the rows and along the fence line—hand-in-hand movement, a few quiet prompts, and natural frames that feel like you. We saved a short golden-hour top-up before the reception.
Very fun bridal party photos
This venue shines for relaxed group energy. We mixed a clean editorial lineup against timber/stone with playful movement shots between the rows. Nothing forced—walk, cheer, a quick “hype the couple” moment, done in 10–15 minutes so you can rejoin canapés.
A fun-first reception
The vibe was simple: keep it fun. Think easy hellos at the door, relaxed speeches, and a dance floor that filled fast. We worked candid and close—little reactions, group hugs, and the in-between moments that make a night feel like your people.
What we capture
Natural guest interactions as the room warms up
Quick table candids between courses
Speech reactions (laughter, happy tears)
First dance + dance floor energy
Tips for planning a Little Vineyard wedding
Timing: Late-afternoon ceremonies photograph best. Hold 20–30 minutes at sunset for portraits.
Footwear: Gravel and grass—bring comfy shoes for exploring the rows.
Wet-weather backup: The covered/indoor spaces and verandas photograph beautifully; we’ll adjust the plan to keep everyone comfortable.
Bridal party plan: Schedule 10–15 minutes for group fun straight after family photos so no one wanders.

No—vines, fence lines and open paddock edges give plenty of variety on site.
How long should we allow for portraits without a first look?
Plan 30–45 minutes post-ceremony, plus a 10–15 minute golden-hour top-up.
