These two met completely by chance while travelling overseas, only to discover that once the trip was over, they’d be returning home to the very same state in Australia. What started as a serendipitous meeting far from home turned into something real, lasting, and deeply beautiful, and their wedding day felt like the most perfect celebration of that kind of love.

Held at the gorgeous Batesford Hotel near Geelong, Sophie and Lucas’ wedding was relaxed, heartfelt, and full of emotion from beginning to end. The venue’s lush green surroundings created such a beautiful backdrop for the day, with sunny weather, gentle light, and plenty of natural shade making everything feel calm, comfortable, and easy.
