A Down to Earth Boathouse Nagambie Wedding Filled With Family, Flowers and Sunset Magic
This Boathouse Nagambie wedding was such a beautiful celebration of love, family and genuine connection. Set beside the river in regional Victoria, the whole day had such a relaxed, down to earth feel, with sunshine, heartfelt moments and a lovely sense of warmth from beginning to end. It was the kind of wedding that felt deeply personal, full of meaning and surrounded by the people who mattered most.
One of the standout details from the day was the bride’s incredible floral work. As a florist, she created her own bouquets and floral styling, filling the celebration with rich shades of red and pink that felt both glamorous and romantic. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, and it added such a beautiful layer of personality to the day. She looked absolutely stunning beside her Australian sweetheart, with their children, family and friends all there to celebrate with them.
The ceremony took place on the dock by the river, which made such a perfect setting for a heartfelt and intimate exchange of vows. With the sunshine sparkling on the water and the relaxed country atmosphere all around, it felt simple, beautiful and full of emotion. Later in the day, we explored the venue for portraits and also made our way to Nagambie Bridge for some gorgeous bridal photos in the evening light.
As the sun began to set, we were treated to the most beautiful golden light, creating such a dreamy backdrop for those quiet moments together. The day ended with crackling fires warming the cool country air, plenty of dancing and a celebration that felt joyful, easygoing and full of love. I absolutely loved photographing this wedding at The Boathouse in Nagambie, and I’m so grateful to this lovely couple for trusting me to capture such a special day.
