Adam & Rachel's Intimate Wedding at Jason's Restaurant, Beaconsfield

Two classics and a love story.

There are weddings that are big and spectacular, and then there are weddings that are small and completely full of heart. Adam and Rachel's day at Jason's Restaurant in Beaconsfield was very much the latter — and honestly, it was one of the most beautiful celebrations I've had the privilege of photographing.

Nestled at Bradford's Winery in Beaconsfield, Jason's Restaurant is a gorgeous venue that lends itself perfectly to intimate gatherings. And intimate is exactly what this day was — close family, close friends, and the people who matter most gathered together to celebrate two people who are so clearly made for each other.

The Morning…

The getting-ready moments set the tone for the whole day. There was a calm, quiet excitement in the air — the kind that only happens when everyone around you is genuinely happy to be there. Adam and Rachel weren't trying to put on a show. They just wanted to get married surrounded by their favourite people, and that intention made everything feel beautifully relaxed and real.

The Ceremony…

When Rachel walked down the aisle, you could feel the whole room hold its breath. Beside them stood their beautiful kids — which added a layer of meaning and emotion to the ceremony that I don't think there are quite enough words for. This wasn't just two people getting married. It was a whole family coming together, and that made every moment of it feel even more significant.

The Rain…

The rain made an appearance — briefly and dramatically — and rather than dampening the mood, it actually added something wonderful to the day. The bridal portraits in the rain have a moody, romantic quality that I absolutely love. Soft light, rich textures, a bride who wasn't fazed for a single second. Some of my favourite images from the whole day came from those rain-soaked moments.

The Details…

Two stunning vintage cars. A beautifully dressed bridal party. Flowers, laughter, and the kind of genuine joy that you simply can't manufacture. Adam and Rachel had put so much thought into every detail, and it showed — but nothing felt overdone or forced. It all just felt like them.

The Reception…

If the ceremony was full of emotion, the reception was full of joy. The dance floor didn't quit — and neither did anyone on it. There's something so special about a small wedding reception where everyone knows everyone, where the speeches are personal and funny and moving all at once, and where the dancing feels less like an obligation and more like a genuine celebration. This was all of that.
